Mr. N K Perumal, an ex-police inspector, established Scorpius in 1973 and was at the helm until his passing in 2001. Mr Perumal personally oversaw the day to day functions of Scorpius and was very hands-on on matters pertaining to our security officers as well as personally attending to the concerns of our clients from time to time. He was a friendly and pragmatic man who was a one man show when he first ventured into the security services line after leaving the police force in 1973

Mr Vijaya Kumar was a former regular in the SAF who left the contract to oversee the operations of Scorpius particularly the performance of the security officers at the deployed sites. He made it a point to undergo the same security modules training mandated by SkillsFuture/PLRD so as to understand his officers better and to advise them accordingly on their roles and responsibilities. Mr Vijaya is also a qualified private investigator after undergoing the necessary training under SkillFuture/PLRD

Ms Malah has been with Scorpius Security since oct 1996 and is the longest serving employee. She is a very valuable asset to the agency handling all salary, annual leave, medical and other important administrative matters cencerning all members/employees of Scorpius. She is the go to person who has every information at her disposal

Mr Lingam was an investigator with the traffic police department before coming on board at Scorpius Security as an operations executive. He possesses vast experience in the security as well as safety industry and this has come in handy when advising our security officers on the ground.

Mr Anthony is a trained senior security officer who has been with Scorpius Security since 2012. Besides conducting scheduled patrolling, he also conducts spot checks on our deployed officers as well as taking charge of posting these officers to their scheduled assignments

Mr Selva Kumar was an ex-trainer in the Army who retried from the SAF after 39 years of service. After achieving his ACTA qualification while in service, he then enrolled in SkillFuture courses concentrating on security modules after retirement. Mr selva goes about reinforcing the knowledge and skills of our officers prior to the annual PLRD ranking exercises so that our officers are up to spped in security matters at all times. Besides coaching our officers, Mr Selva who is also an Associate Trainer,conducts security modules training at Approved Training Organization(ATO)

Mr Masuhood was a Pressroom Manager at Times Printers Pte Ltd for 44 years. After retirement, Mr Masuhood enrolled himself in security courses through SkillsFuture SG achieving his CSO(Chief Security Officer) certification. He then joined Scorpius as a supervisor before being made Operations Manager cum Controller at our Central Command Centre. Mr Masuhood is quite an old hand in managing and supervising our security officers as well as meeting our clients from time to time for updates or any other matters on top of ensuring the smooth operations at the command centre. Besides this, Mr Masuhood is very adept in assisting our chief admin in preparing for the annual PLRD ranking exercise.
